Autism Program
Summary of Program
While most of our students demonstrate symptoms on the autism spectrum, they all have different learning disabilities and cognitive disorders. Each student also has his, or her, own particular interests and learning styles, so we concentrate on each child’s individualized education goals.
In addition to working on functional academic skills with our Unique Learning System, we run a highly structured program that focuses on Positive Behavior Support , while developing students’ social and communication skills, as well as their functional life skills. The overall aim of the Autism Cluster is to teach our students how to become more self-sufficient.
